SILVAIN'S SCULPTURAL EVOLUTION:

FROM MARBLE EXPERIMENTS TO INNOVATIVE FORMS

In the early 1970s, Silvain also experimented with marble sculpture, showcasing his versatility and commitment to exploring different mediums. As Silvain's artistic journey progressed, he continued to push the boundaries of his creativity by experimenting with sculptures made from recycled materials and toys. He crafted both small and large sculptures and used reclaimed metal that were exhibited as far as Canada and New York.

Collaborating with glass artist Giampaolo Amoruso, and later in Murano, he produced works in blown glass. This innovative approach allowed him to explore new textures, forms, and concepts, blending the surreal with the tangible. His sculptures became a testament to his ability to transform everyday objects into thought-provoking art, reflecting his unique vision and commentary on contemporary society.
